Finding Mr. Wrong is a Pill

Do you always go for Mr. Wrong? Maybe you should blame the pill. Evidence suggests that taking the contraceptive pill can change the type of men that women naturally find attractive.

When ladies who don’t pop the pill are at their most fertile they tend to prefer fellas with deep voices, broad shoulders and wide jaws. Women on the pill, however, aren’t swayed these traits.

And when asked to sniff T-shirts worn by men, pill-users are allured by different odours compared to ovulating gals.

So, how could a pill change the rules of attraction?

The contraceptive pill prevents pregnancy by smoothing out the hormonal swings that drive the menstrual cycle. These changes could alter female desire.

But, if you’re thinking of getting off the pill just to find Mr. Right, maybe think again.

While a strong jaw and arousing smell might be nice. It’s not everything.
